Daft question, I saw a sawn off double barreled shotgun at the last event. Assuming both barels are fire at the same time, would this allow the call of quad? (and leaving an empty gun for all those melee types to go and stick the knive in before reloading?) _________________ Acting Lt. Col James Bryant

Would it it be Quad, or as its two barrels would it be two-by-two (as a double wielded pistol is two-by-one or is that no longer the case now that Vitality works different to how is used to? - having not double wielded I can't remember without checking)?
[EDIT]
I used to carry a sawn off double barrel in Sam's era, and was told it was as I suggested above, with it being empty and in need of reloading if I fired both at once. Otherwise it acted like a regular shotgun but had a magazine of 2. _________________ My Livejournal | My myspace | My Photobucket |

if you are using two pistols with ambi, it is now double as damage to vitality is now 1 point of damage for 1 point of vitality, whilst previously it was 1 hit (between 1 and x damage) for 1 point of vitality. _________________ Acting Lt. Col James Bryant

Quad knockdown strikes me as pretty twinky for a shotgun, but that might be me and my opinion that those things are massively overrated in fiction.
Either way It would require physreps for cartridges and roleplayed reloading. _________________ Maj. Richard A. Calvin (Royal (Space) Marines)

Part of me agrees with broz, but on 6 vit, 6 body random mob, number crunch wise it oddly makes little difference between an assault rifle burst and double barreled shotgun firing both barrels. both get the mob to 0 in three hits.
ooh can anyone tell me what people use to make shotgun shells btw for I am the owner of a shiny mossberg pump.. _________________ Acting Lt. Col James Bryant

If Rob (used to play Major Highway) is out there he used to be able to get hold of spent shells. _________________ Colonel Thomas Thorne R.E. (Ret.) BSc, PhD, MC & bar

If you have an airsoft shotty like my Spaz12 you can get real effect shells for it that usually (but in our case wont) hold BBs. They arent too expensive and as they are not the gun itself but just an accessory you should be able to pick them up without a UKARA licence.
Alternatively some thin lagging cut into short lengths and sprayed up should also do the trick
