If somone hasn't already it may be worth contacting some people we havn't seen in a while.
Might be worth pointing out that if it is a choice based on not wantng to spend on a load of formal military kit, it isn't a requirement. I think we'd just rather have the event than try to stage a reenactment.

also the operation is intelligence run not military (or is the dinner a military one) so people can choose to wear what they want anyway. ( i would have thought)
Is this an appropriate event for new people to come to (though most of the people I have been talking to about coming to it are going to be at the event I am at that weekend)

I have checked with Dave and it is perfectly fine for new characters to start at this one as Steve is number 17!
It's actually a nice 'taster', especially if there is no camping involved.

| Yes im in. I am Steve and i play Maelstrom with Kate who has talked me into coming to this event and likely the others later in the year. I have been toying with the idea of playing for about a year or two but finally decided to get moving and play! |
