The Geneva convention doesn't mention them, they were banned by the Hague convention however, which the U.S. of A. never signed up to. Your first point is still very valid though. | ||

I'm not really one to talk on that score, though. After all, I managed friendly fire on the event 3 training exercise.

The spread pattern on shot isn't that great, you can see that from the targets. Given that a) the weapon has (or at least seams to have) less recoil than a standard battle rifle, and certainly less than most SMGs, the mildly indiscriminate aspect of using shot has be countered by being more accurate than other CQB firearms. (You try keeping an Uzi, or similar on target on full auto) |
