Thank you for a great event!Heya,
Was my first event and I really enjoyed it. Battled with the rules at first, but came to appreciate the levelling effect they have - very cool.
What a friendly, welcoming bunch of role-players, and to be honest, it was just such fun shouting "unauthorised off-world activation" and seeing everyone grab their guns. I could have just watched. <grin>
As a psychiatrist/psychologist, I got to learn a lot about the depth of peoples characters, and look forward to role-playing with you all again _ I will winkle those secrets out!
My daughter was very impressed that I went thru the stargate 12 times, and I didn't even stay for Sunday.
Please tell me what happened, who the angels were, what was the ancient artifact, and who put Genoa in the circle and why? and a thousand more questions.
Loved it.
What can I say. I just joined by paypal.
See you all again

Thanks, thanks and more thanksGot to echo the thanks from the 'other side', as well.
Jenny and I have never been made so welcome by a group of (relative)strangers - OK so as the weekend went on I re-met Syd, discovered I re-enact with a number of the players and have been at Sci-Fi conventions with others but - you should pride yourselves on your incredible open house mentality and it was more than appreciated.
Costume offers of food, more kit than you could shake a stick at and a chance to bamboozle the players as well - what more could a man ask for.
I would say here's to the next one but, unfortunately we're running a game in Southampton that weekend so hopefully you'll have us back on another mission to crew soon.
Paul - the one with the red moustache (and Jenny - the one in the red cloak ... or slut in the circle .. as she was named )
Now off to design Yeti costumes

Thanks very much for the kind words.
I would like to thank...
.. the current players for making the new players feel welcome and part of the team.
..our brilliant crew, especially our new crew who quite frankly rocked and look forward to seeing you again.
..Kehoe for keeping track of things and taking some of the new crew under his wing, and keeping me sane. Especially with a tooth absess!
JD, Rob and Tonya for generally being awesome. I suspect the SEF may convert the ark into a naqueda powered beer fridge.
Polly for giving us the lift up with the kit and going WELL beyond the call of duty .
Ross for taking the bullet and staying home so Polly could attend. If he had not done that, then alot of essential kit and props would not have made it to the event and it would not have been anyway near what we wanted.
Now, time for tiffin.

Thanks so much to:
Ross for fixing it for me so that I could come
Rob for working harder than seemed feasible, and at all hours, and always cheerfully
Tonya for not complaining once about anything in the teeth of a horrible infection, a middle of the night hospital visit and all the crap that goes with arranging an event
Debs and Steve for sticking in there with the event come hell and high water
Nigel and Broz for coming half way across the world to crew, ref and hump kit
Kehoe for being Kehoe, even when sick
All the crew – I didn’t get to meet or even see everyone but it was great to have so many competent enthusiastic and well-briefed crew – it really makes the atmos. Jenny gets a special mention for standing in a two foot circle for ages in the cold while we dithered - erm, I mean 'gathered more evidence'
JD for fantastic downtimes as usual – my turn to get with Wikipedia – and brill reffing
Dave and Woody for arranging the practicalities

Sorry for not posting my thanks earlier but sleep overtook me when I got home.
As Debs said, There's a number of people without whom we couldn't have run the event we did (I won't name names incase I omit someone, but you know who you are), and to those people I am eternally grateful.
The crew, as so many have said, were indeed a thing of awe and an pleasure to work with, and I hope that next time we can work with you again.
Players, you rock!
As always you guys throw the occasional curve ball at us to keep us on our toes.
Thanks one and all, I just hope you guys had as much fun as I did.
Rob.

A real big thanks to all ref's and crew, great job in keeping things flowing even in to the wee small hours of Sunday morning. This was my first stargate and I was made most welcome by all, practically the team I was assigned to (Sorry Eden I will be back ).

Have to say my second event was more awesome than the first. Such a great group of players and a fun game to play.
I'm trying to find a way to attend the next one, although that may prove unpopular with the missus. Can't wait to play again!

Should I be paranoid that every one seems to remember me?

Thanks for the eventI've already posted on Hot and Not and said what I think, but I'll say it again...
Thanks to everyone for a superb event, with a special thanks to the refs and crew who work very, very hard for little reward other than these thanks. So thanks again!
I will probably crew Simon and Dave's event, so I look forward to seeing you all there! It's hard to say which I find more fun, crewing or playing - this is possibly what makes SG stand proud of other systems. However Cooper will return at a later date.
Cheers
