is what I use. Not 100% lrp safe but perfectly acceptable if you aren't a prick with it, and safer than most of the bb guns out there

i have found a supplier aborad where we can get these cheaper and if a few people want to buy them then we could do a bulk order ?
Is anyone interested, Price will be £5.99 plus percentage of postage.
Also have found thanks to leon gas barretas at £35 plus postage from abroad, they are chinese and all metal. reviews are good and have asked what bulk purchase discount there would be

I suspect something like this
http://www.gunnerairsoft.com/cata...o.php?cPath=2&products_id=218
I'd imagine they would get stopped in customs though and cost a fair bit to get out

yes thats the one..
customes cant stop it on grounds that it's not illegal.
checking on duty now..
but it would be a maz of 17.5% of the purchase prices in striling.
so we would be looking at £29.99 + vat + shipping. (same for the knives, except that the more you buy the cheaper the shipping becomes per item...)
The knives work out at around £5.99 + vat + £2.00 shipping, so about £9.00 but thats before bulk discount. Payment would be done via pay-pal so we have paymnet protection.

I have been told tha post office are slapping a service charge on top of vat as well now for anything checked in customs but haven't checked that out as yet.. it might mean the charges add up significnatly though.

Speaking as a person who has imported much of his airsoft stuff from Hong Kong, and having worked in shipping, duties can be a bit iffy.
If sent by Royal Mail or someone like Parcel Farce or Speedpost (hong kong local shipper) it is possible to avoid duties, however I understand it is a bit of a lottery, the time of year definatly makes adifference, greater volume at christmas means less probability of random stoppage.
If sent via someone like UPS or DHL expect to get fucked up the arse and messed around like buggery (have experienced this one both from the perspective of a customer and an employee.)
If sent by TNT it will get routed via their euro hub in the netherlands and then get crushed by customs (this is a perenial anecdote on airsoft forums.)
Be ready for up to 17.5% VAT and a possible clearance fee which can be anything between £5 and £30 based on personal and professional experience. There's no duty on airsoft kit as they are counted as toys, query anything different as customs probably got the wrong TARIQ code (happened to me with UPS, they did however sort out a refund quite smartly.)
However if buying within the EU you will have no additional charges to pay of any kind. Harmonised euro VAT will already be in the purchase cost and the stuff should go straight through customs. (Again, personal experience here, brought ten cheap springers from a German ebay site and got the kit within the same week, a pity the bank tried to fuck me around on the initial money transfer...)
