Jaffa/Ga'ould Language.The rules have Jaffa and Ga'ould as different languages but I was told that they are actually the same.
which is it?

Some source texts in the Stargate universe lists them as the same language, some list them as seperate languages. In general Jaffa speak both their own language and the language of the Goa'uld. Most of the time on the TV show they are speaking Goa'uld
If you check the previous version of the rules (3.x from June 2007) that also lists them as two seperate languages - as it has been since the beginning

I was told this was wrong and given both toghether you see, hence the confusion. Will I have to give one up now?
I would point out that my official SG guide says they are the same, but knowing them there is probably another equally official guide that says something completely different, so it's hardly to be trusted.

Thanks. However I do note there is no mention in the rules for playing a free Jaffa in the game that they need a bizarre hat collection. Must include a beanie and at least one bandana...
