Great Pub Debate had this evening. BB5 V's SG -AtlantisBasically the rather passionate argument was basically this, who would win in a fight between Marcus Cole, Mimbari trained Ranger and all round good guy from Babylon 5, or Ronon Dex, moody strong and general kicker of Wraith arse?
Both are highly trained, both have different fighting styles.
This went on for ages, so I thought I would ask you guys what you thought.

Only if he could whip out his extenting pole in time...
I vote Ronon he as more of a get in first and finish it quick atitude, sometimes even before the fight started and you know your in one. Where as Marcus tends to talk to much rather than attack first so you know whats coming.

depends, Ronan would obviously just shoot Marcus in the first instance. but should it be a specific face to face melee then id say it would end with the pair of them really F****ed up and ultimately having to team up to take on a horde of Drakh/Wraith hybrids.

Marcus. IF Ronan shot first, the outcome is obvious. However Marcus doesn't start fights, He finishes them. It's all foreplay & posturing by the bad guys, Ronan would have no reason to shoot until he suddenly found himself wearing a Ranger staff.

After thinking about this since my last posting on the subject I have now reached the conclusion that I'm not bothered who would win the fight between Marcus and Ronon as I am almost positive that James T Kirk could kick their collective arses!

Marcus would walk up and down on Ronan, then, just before the killing blow, Ronan would - with no warning and after landing not a single punch on Marcus - trip him with a low sweeping kick and have the Ranger land on a suitably pointy piece of scenary.
A witty quip would follow.
