Admin-Rob

Path's really eager to do the next event...
So I guess I'm in for the Ride.
Marc?
Rick?
You guys in?

Assuming that we don't tread on anyone's toes who really wants the next event, and that it's not booked too near in the future.
Theo

Can i suggest that, as was done for the most recent event, that each of the above receive a new area of the forum locked down to the requester and those others that the requesters wants to allow access to?
Admin-Rob

I'll get that done later on tonight iof no one objects.
Broz

I was looking at mid or late 2008.
Steven Daniels

Dates for future events

Let me know when you want to do an event and I'll book the site.

After the discussions on Sunday night, I talked to Snowy and I have provisionally booked the site for:
28th - 30th March 2008 (Rob & Path..?)
and
3rd - 5th October 2008 (Broz..?)

If you want to use these dates, they're yours!

Or... if anyone has a specific date or site in mind, then let me know and I'll make enquiries.

I'm looking at running an event in June/July however... As I said I need a lot of dedicated crew for full time NPC's.

Dave.
Admin-Rob

We'll take the 28th - 30th. Very Happy

Rolling Eyes

Broz

He ain't alone in asking it, think i'm doing this on my own, you are very much mistaken.

The date is cool but despite the awesomness of wroxton. I'm not convinced it would be suitable for my plans. Need to look at suitable sites as i understand there are some cool ones in my vicinity.

TBH Barnswood is the current front runner on the basis of the number of buildings available and the fact the cars can be parked well out of the way (since Hyborian i'm more mindful of the presence of the things.)

If only candlestone had a bunch of propper buildings and electricity...

And mine on the 29th
Fenric

Oh and it's the big 40 this year isn't it, James.
The Kibble

March 28th to 30th is the weekend after Easter so I doubt i will be able to make it again as
1) will have a new 3 week old baby
2) Will have been away to Maelstrom the week before.

oh well

Too bad, you were missed at this event.
I'm sure I heard some what would Kibble Do's played.
Fenric

I just used "What Would Alan Freeman Do?" and "What Would Doctor Bob Destroyer of Worlds Do?"
dante73

The alternate reality Team Temple repeatedly asked "where's your Kibble?" in their keeness to get home without being eaten by cannibals.
Reaver

I'm sure Kincaid nearly used a 'What would Kibble do?' when faced with a humanoid Doe. He then preceded to pet it and let it snuffle on him, so all turned out ok anyway.
Fenric

Yes, while having the worlds largest terrified look on my face.
The Kibble

Discect it I expect
Broz

well as opposed to Captain Thorne who got raped by it...
Richard Tyler

Im beginning to be glad I didnt go Smile

as for jDs footer, do I hear Fonts closet opening finally
Woody

On a more serious note again I assume that with there being the same refs we can make sure that any ideas we have haven;t already been planned out else where? For instance Dave has done japanese, Rob Native american. Now if both Alex and I are planning a similar feel to the event the refs can let us know and we can re work out ideas
Freeman

We're also touching on Voodoo (as those who met the Zombie Jaffa and spoke to (I think) Cushing will attest to)
Theo

Provided i know what people are doing, sure, i'll do my best to let folks know if there is any danger of cross-over, or other such issues.

I'm always here to help (if folks want it of course!).
Cushing

We did indeed touch on the voodoo. I briefed JD on ways to kill a zombie up to and incuding filling its mouth with salt, sewing its lips shut and cutting off its head. It was really rewarding when JD was gearing up the team to go back to zombie world to hear him say, "And take some salt!"

Very Happy
Fenric

Rule 3 of Command : listen to the experts in their field Smile

You said salt may work, Banks even made some salt bullets for us Smile
Broz

And we did indeed take some salt, and completly forgot to try it...

Staff Weapon was just too much fun.
