Bristol Gamers Meet (1st of June)There is another gamers get together and social evening in the Stag & Hounds pub on Mon 1st June. A chance to meet some other Bristol gamers to have a chat, or to recruit players, or to swap gaming gossip. Arrive between 6pm and 7.15 if you want pub food.
WHERE: Stag and Hounds is on the corner of Old Market Street by the roundabout, and is next to the Evening Post building. The gamers lurk at the back of the pub in the early evening, and move upstairs later in the evening. Ask the bar staff to point us out if you are lost, bewildered or confused.
GETTING THERE BY LOCAL BUS: The buses that go to the Stag & Hounds are: 4, 6, 7, 8, 8a, 9, 9a, 24, 36, 41, 43, 44, 45, 48 and 49.
GETTING THERE BY TRAIN; Bristol Temple Meads is approximately 10-15 mins walk from the pub (or you can get the 8, 8a, 9, 9a bus from the station, but it is only a couple of stops - ask for the Evening Post building).
PUB FOOD: The pub serves food until approx 7.15. It does a selection of pies, plus the usual pub stuff – lasagne, burgers, fishcakes, etc. There is a chicken burger place further up Old Market if you arrive too late for pub food.
