There have been a couple of questions recently about what did and didn’t happen from the Stargate Cannon in game – hence here is my list of the items which did and didn’t occur in game – taken from the major events in the Stargate Universe.

One of these planets, included the Tauri Stargate, where Apophis sent a small serpent attack force through, kidnapping a female guard and killing several others. (SG1: "Children of the Gods") Yes
Jack O'Neill was recalled to active duty by General Hammond, regaining his rank of Colonel and is given permission to take a team through the Stargate to Abydos, to investigate the invasion by Apophis. The team assembled included Colonel O'Neill, Kawalsky, Ferretti and Samantha Carter (SG1: "Children of the Gods") Yes
Daniel left the Abydonians, and accompanied O’Neil and his team back to Earth, when Sha're became the host to Amaunet and Skaara became host to the children of the Goa'uld. Daniel Jackson, promised not to return to Abydos until he found them. (SG1: "Children of the Gods") Yes
The Charter of the SGC was signed by the President of the United States on February 22, founding Stargate Command. As a result, General Hammond was given authorisation by the President to form nine covert teams, designated SG-1 to SG-9. Their standing orders included, acquiring weapons or technology that could help Earth in the fight against the Goa'uld, whilst establishing alliances with the people of other worlds. O'Neill was given command of SG-1, with Samantha Carter as his second-in-command and Daniel Jackson accompanying him, while Kawalsky was given command of SG-2. (SG1: "Children of the Gods"). Yes
While exploring the planet Chulak, SG-1 are captured and imprisoned. O'Neill however, convinced Apophis’ first prime Teal'c to help them escape and return to Earth. During their mission to Chulak, an Iris protecting the Earths Stargate against unauthorized inbound travelers was installed. (SG1: "Children of the Gods"). Yes
The SGC discovered that an infant Goa’uld had posed Kawalsky on Chulak, but while the medical experts attempted to removed the symbiote it blended with Kawalsky, leading to his eventual death. (SG1: "The Enemy Within"). Yes
Teal’c is assigned as the fourth member of SG-1 by O'Neill's recommendation. (SG1: "The Enemy Within") Yes
SG-1 made first contact with the Chalcis, a peaceful society at the heart of the Halos Confederacy of planets (Stargate SG-1: Sacrifice Moon) Yes
On the planet Simarka (P3X-593), SG-1 made first contact with the Shavadai, a race of Mongol-like warriors who operated by a strict code, which included a lowly status for women. (SG1: "Emancipation"). Yes
SG-1 accompanies SG-3 to the planet designated P3X-797, and discovered a world divided between a dark and light side, with a population similarly split between the Touched and the Untouched. The Untouched, lived on the bright side, a Minoan like civilization. The Touched, who live on the dark side, are primitives with the instincts of animals. On returning to Earth, the SG-3 marines and all but two members of the SG-1 team (Daniel and Teal'c) began to exhibit the brutality of the Touched, which rapidly spreads throughout the SGC. General Hammond placed the SGC into quarantine until Doctor Fraiser could created an antidote for the virus. (SG1: "The Broca Divide") Yes
On an exploratory mission to planet designated P3X-562, SG-1 made first contact with Unity, a blue crystalline species. (SG1: "Cold Lazarus") Yes
SG-1 traveled to the planet designated P3C-117 and made first contact with the Nox. An advanced humanoid race, with amazing healing powers and the capability to make things invisible. (SG1: "The Nox") Yes
SG-1 explored the planet Argos (P3X-8596) and made first contact with the Argonians. An ancient Minoan based civilization, whose age was accelerated by nanotechnology, until SG-1 destroyed the technology and allowed the Iranians to live years instead of 100 days. (SG1: "Brief Candle") Yes
On an exploratory mission to the planet Cimmeria (P3X-974), SG-1 made first contact with the Cimmerians. (SG1: " Thor's Hammer") Yes
Daniel Jackson realized that Ernest Littlefield went through the Stargate in 1945 and never returned. SG-1 and Catherine Langford went on a mission to P3X-972 and returned Ernest Littlefield to Earth. On P3X-972, SG1 also uncovered Heliopolis, the meeting place of the Alliance of the Four Races, which included the Ancients, the Nox, the Asgard and the Furling. (SG1: "The Torment of Tantalus") Yes
SG-1 traveled to the planet Oannes (P3X-866), and discovered the homeworld of Nem, the sole survivor of an ancient aquatic race. Nem captured Daniel, and learned that Belus had killed his mate Omoroca while attempting to free humans of Earth from the Goa’uld. (SG1: "Fire and Water") Yes
A team of archaeologists in Mexico uncovered an ancient tomb with a Sarcophagus inside, which contained the Goa'uld called Hathor. Hathor used an airborn substance to seduce the men at the SGC, with the intention of using the base to breed Goa'uld, but was prevented by Dr Frasier and Samantha Cartar. (SG1: " Hathor") Yes
SG-1 traveled to Hanka (P8X-987}, where SG-7 had established an astronomical observatory. But found that the entire population and the visiting SG-7 had been killed by Nirrti, except for a little girl called Cassandra. SG-1 brought Cassandra back to Earth and discovered an explosive device in her chest. Daniel and Carter ascertained that the Goa'uld planted the device as part of a scheme to destroy the Earth's Stargate. Cassandra is adopted by Doctor Frasier and Earth became her new home. The explosive device in Cassandra chest shrank once she was taken away from the Stargate. (SG1: "Singularity") Yes
When SG-1 explored the planet Cartago (P3X-1279) and made first contact with the Byrsa people, Teal'c was recognized as once having been the First Prime of Apophis, and was put on trial for killing Hanno's father. Hanno realeased Teal'c however, when the planet was attacked by Apophis and he saved the Byrsa people. (SG1: " Cor-ai"). Yes
On an exploratory mission to the planet Tollan (P3X-7763), SG-1 found several survivors of an advanced civilization called the Tollans and returned them to their civilization. (SG1: "Enigma") Yes
The Stargate malfunctioned whilst SG-1 were evacuating from a firefight on P4A-771, which sent O’ Neil and Carter to a previously unknown second Stargate in the ice of Antarctica. O'Neil and Carter were rescued, and the Antarctica Stargate was stored at Area 51. (SG1: "Solitudes") Yes
On arrival to the planet designated PX3-989, SG-1 were rendered unconscious and their consciousness were copied into the bodies of duplicate androids. SG1 were eventually returned to Earth, and their duplicates remained on PX3-989 with Harlan. (SG1: "Tin Man") Yes
On P3R-233, Daniel discovered the Quantum Mirror which transported him to an alternative version of Earth. An Earth were he never joined the SGC and which was under attack from the Goa’uld. Altenative members of SG-1 sacraficed thier lives, so Daniel had enough time to return his own reality with a note containing the Stargate address of the world that was the staging point for the invasion. (SG1: "There But For The Grace Of God") Yes
Daniel Jackson warned the SGC that an attack in Earth is imminent. Robert Kinsey however, recommended shutting down the Stargate program. SG-1 made an unauthorized mission to prevent Apophis' attempt to invade Earth. SG-1 succeeded, causing Apophis' position among the System Lords to weaken and allowed the Stargate program to remain active. (SG1: "Politics", "Within the Serpent's Grasp", "The Serpent's Lair") Yes
While SG-1 helped a group of people on the planet Nassya flee through the Stargate from a Goa'uld attack on their world, Captain Carter unwillingly becomes the host of Jolinar of Malshur, a Tok'ra symbiote. (SG1: "In the Line of Duty") Yes
SG-1 are sentenced to life imprisonment in Hadante, an underground prison accessible only through a Stargate, which has no Dial-Home Device (DHD). A prisoner called Linea however, helped SG-1 to escape through Stargate, which also ensured her own freedom. But when SG-1 returned to Earth, the SGC realized that Linnea was actually the notorious criminal nicknamed the "Destroyer of Worlds", who created a disease that wiped out an entire planet. Linnea escaped through the Stargate, before the SGC could re-capture her. (SG1: "Prisoners") Yes
SG-1 team travel to P7J-989 and were trapped inside a virtual reality machine. SG-1 are forced to relive past events, which included watching their friend and family dye, as entertainment. SG-1 managed to escape, and in the process also helped the other inhabitants leave the virtual reality machine. (SG1: "The Gamekeeper") Yes
While exploring P3R-636, Daniel saved a young women called Shyra, the daughter of Pyrus The Goslayer, leading SG-1 to become enslaved and forced to work in the Naqahdah mines. Daniel also become addicted to a sarcophagus. (SG1: "Need") Yes
On Cimmeria, the System Lord Heru attempted to subjugate the Cimmerians protected by the Asgard. SG-1 however, were able to contact the Asgard called Thor, who came in his vessel (Thor's Chariot) and removed the Goa’uld on Cimmeria. (SG1: "Thor's Chariot") Yes
While SG-1 explored the dead planet P5C-353, they discovered an orb that sent out electromagnetic signals. Believing the orb contained messages from a lost civilization, SG-1 brought it back to Earth. However the Orb contained organisms which infected everything it touched, metabolizing its subatomic structure. SG-1 agreed with the organism to send the orb through the Stargate to P4G-881, which was a primordial world with no civilization. (SG1: "Message in a Bottle") Yes
Teal'c's son, Rya'c, was kidnapped and brainwashed by Apophis. SG-1 and Bra'tac traveled to Chulak and rescued Rya'c, who was then un-brainwashed by Teal'c. (SG1: "Family") Yes
Daniel returned to Abydos to inform his father-in-law Kasuf that he was been unable to rescue Sha're, but he discovered that Sha're was already on Abydos, and was carrying Apophis' child. Heru-ur, sworn enemy of Apophis, intended on stealing the child when he landed his mothership on Abydos, but Daniel and Teal'c gave the baby to Kasuf, who went into hiding. (SG1: "Secrets") Yes
On an exploratory mission to BP6-3Q1 Teal'c is stung by a giant insect. When Teal'c returned to Earth, the venom began to rewrite his DNA, which nearly caused Teal'c to transform into the insects offspring. (SG1: "Bane") Yes
SG-1 make first contact with the Tok’ra on the plant P34-353J and Jacob willingly becomes the host to the Tok’ra symbiote Selmak. (SG1: "The Tok'ra") Yes
When SG-11 do not return from PXY-887, SG-1 leads the SG-1 team through the Stargate to find SG-1 and negotiate with the mystical natives for a precious mineral called Trinium. (SG1: "Spirits") Yes
A group that posed as the team SG-1 stole the climate-controlling Touchstone from the planet Madrona (PX7-941), which caused the plant’s weather to deteriorate, threatening the inhabitants with imminent death. The SG-1 made the disturbing discovery that the second Stargate on Earth, which had been officially decommissioned, had been reactivated by high-levels and used to steal the touchstone. SG-1 regained the touchstone and returned it Madrona, but the team who posed as SG-1 escaped through the second Stargate (SG1: "Touchstone") Yes
Sometime in that year, the Wraith culled Sateda, which ended up in all but 300 Satedans killed or culled. (ATL: "Runner") Yes
When SG-1 traveled to the planet P3R-272, the Ancients language and knowledge was downloaded into O’Neill’s brain. O’Neill added new Stargate destinations in to the SGC computer, previously not from the Abydos cartouche. O'Neill also traveled outside the Milky Way Galaxy and made physical first contact with the Asgard race. (SG1: "The Fifth Race") Yes
While attempting to save the members of SG-10 from a black hole on planet P3W-451, the SGC activated the Stargate and created an artificial Wormhole between the two worlds, exposes themselves to the black hole's gravitational pull. Even without power, the black hole's gravitation continued to draw the SGC closer, warping the space-time continuum. Colonel Cromwell and O'Neill, placed an explosive device near to the event horizon, which caused the wormhole conneted to the Earth's Stargate to disengage. (SG1: "A Matter of Time") Yes
SG-1 discovered the chamber of former Goa'uld enemy Ma'chello. (SG1: "Holiday") Yes
On a routine reconnaissance mission to the planet PJ2-445, SG1 made first contact with an alien humanoid species who had developed a symbiotic relationship with the plants that exist on that world. (SG1: "One False Step") Yes
A powerful solar flare crossed the path of the Stargate's matter stream, which caused SG-1 to be propelled around the sun and travel back in time 30 years to 1969. SG-1 were able to actiavte the Stargate in storage, and prediced another solar flare. But SG-1 entered the Stargate a few seconds to early and were propelled far into the future. An elderly Cassandra, in the future, returned them back to thier timeline. (SG1: "1969") Yes
The SGC was infiltrated by an invisible race called the Reetou, who planed to destroy the Goa’uld by eradicating all potential human hosts. Jacob and another Tok'ra however brought a device called Transphase Eradication Rods, which allowed SG-1 to reveal and destroy the Reetou. (SG1: "Show and Tell") Yes
Hathor captured SG-1's O'Neill, Daniel, and Carter and uses them to gather information on the current state of affairs since her time on Earth about 2,000 years ago. Teal'c gathered a group of Jaffa to help him rescue SG-1 and started the Jaffa Rebellion to overthrow the Goa'uld. O'Neill killed Hathor and the team returned to Earth. (SG1: "Out of Mind", "Into the Fire") Yes
Samantha Carter killed the Goa’uld System Lord Seth, when SG-1 discovered Seth hiding on Earth for thousands of years and leading an occult sect. (SG1: "Seth") Yes
The Asgard leader Thor, informed the SGC that the Goa'uld System Lords planned to attack Earth, and provided help in negotiating a peace deal. (SG1: "Fair Game") Yes
During a routine mission, SG-1 discovered a room containing the corpses of a league of Goa'uld who challenged the System Lords. (SG1: "Legacy") Yes
In the pursuit of knowledge, SG-1 traveled to the planet Orban as part of an exchange program. Daniel and Teal'c remained on the planet, and a young Orbanian girl named Merrin, traveled to Earth, and taught Carter how to build Naquadah reactor. (SG1: "Learning Curve") Yes
An alternate-reality version of Major Samantha Carter and the deceased Major Kawalsky used the Quantum mirror to transport themselves to our present-day Earth, and were found in a top-secret Area 51 building. SG1 traveled back to Major Samantha Carter and Major Kawalsky reality and contacted the Asgard race, who liberated thier Earth from Goa’uld occupation. (SG1: "Point of View") Yes
SG-1 discovered a camp being used by Apophis to train troops that could infiltrate the SGC. (SG1: "Rules of Engagement") Yes
SG-1 traveled to the planet PJ6-877 and were captured by the bounty hunter Aris Boch, who solicited their help in capturing a Tok’ra named Kel'tar in exchange for their freedom. SG1 were able to convince Aris Boch, that the Tok’ra were not like the Goa’uld, which lead to SG1’s and Kel’tar being released. (SG1: "Deadman Switch") Yes
SG-1 traveled to a medieval village under Sokar's control and liberated the villagers. (SG1: "Demons") Yes
Teal'c killed Amonet and the host Sha're, as she attempted to kill Daniel with a hand device. Before Sha're's death however, she revealed to Daniel that her son was a Harcesis child, and therefore carried all the knowledge of the Goa'uld. (SG1: "Forever in a Day") Yes
Sokar is killed by the Tok'ra. Apophis returned and assumed control of his armies, becoming the strongest Goa'uld among the System Lords. (SG1: "The Devil You Know") Yes
The Goa'uld symbiote was removed from Skaara by the Tok'ra, and Skaara returned home to Abydos. (SG1: "Pretense") Yes
SG-1 and Colonel Maybourne's NID forces re-captured the SGC, after an unknown alien race from P3X-11 created a foothold situation. (SG1: "Foothold") Yes
O'Neill went undercover and helped capture the rogue Stargate team that been stealing alien artifacts, including the touchstone on the planet Madrona. O'Neil also revealed that Colonel Maybourne had been leading the rogue Stargate team, but he went into hiding and escaped punishment. (SG1: "Shades of Grey") Yes
Daniel found a glowing crystal skull, identical to the one discovered by his grandfather in 1982, which allowed SG-1 to make first contact with a race of being nicknamed the Giant Aliens. (SG1: "Crystal Skull") Yes
SG-1 and the Gaza Stargate were transported aboard Thor's vessel, when it was over taken by Replicators. SG1 attached an elementary naquadah enhanced bomb (BF- on the deceleration drive, which was detonated when vessel entered the Earth's atmosphere. Thor's vessel crashed into the Pacific Ocean, but a single Replicators survived and quickly overtook a Russian submarine. Fortunately, the submarine was destroyed before the replicator infestation escaped. However the Gaza Stargate, used by SG-1 to escape Thor's vessels, was lost in the Pacific Ocean. (SG1: "Nemesis", "Small Victories") Yes
Genrald Hammond ordered that the Antarctic Stargate to be brought out of storage, and used to replace the Giza Stargate. (SG1: "Nemesis") Yes
The Russians retrieved the Giza Stargate from the ocean and began their own Stargate Program, without the knowledge of the United States. Former Air Force Colonel and NID Agent Harry Maybourne committed treason when he provided the Russians with the information they needed to get their program started. (SG1: "Watergate") Yes
Earth, P4X-639, Alaris, and 11 other planets spend three months trapped in a time loop. Since the general population of Earth wasn't aware of this, these months go unrecorded on Earth's calendar. (SG1: "Window of Opportunity") Yes
Heru-ur is killed, allowing Apophis to absorb his forces into his own. (SG1: "Serpent's Venom") Yes
Rogue NID agents force General Hammond to resign briefly in favor of General Bauer. Yes
